NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A luxury golfing company backed by Justin Timberlake has purchased hundreds of acres of land eight miles northwest of downtown Nashville and plans to open an 18-hole course this year, according to the company’s website.
The latest land deal in a string of acquisitions by The Farm Nashville, an LLC affiliated with 8AM Golf, was finalized Tuesday, according to property deeds filed with Metro Nashville. The Farm Nashville paid $7.5 million for approximately 112 acres in the deal. This latest purchase brings the company’s total to about 475 acres in the Whites Creek neighborhood of Nashville. In 2022, the company bought 363 acres for $22.5 million.
According to 8AM Golf’s website, the company is building an 18-hole private course on 363 acres of land. It will be called Bounty Club and have a “highly curated” membership profile. Justin Timberlake, who is co-developing the project, is listed as a partner at 8AM Golf on the company’s website.
8AM Golf is the owner of several golf-related companies including Golf.com, Golf magazine and golf course design firm Nicklaus Companies.

Representatives for 8AM Golf did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Golf course architecture firm King-Collins will design the Bounty Club course, according to a 2023 article published by Golf.com. King-Collins also designed Sweetens Cove in South Pittsburg less than two hours south of Nashville by car, and that nine-hole layout is No. 1 in Tennessee on Golfweek’s Best ranking of public-access courses.
The property is poised to join a slew of luxurious and exclusive golf clubs scattered around the wealthy suburbs of Nashville. Membership-based clubs include Troubadour Golf and Field Club and The Grove in Williamson County, Belle Meade Country Club and Richland Country Club.
As the Nashville area has continued to grow, tee times have been increasingly difficult to secure, even at the city’s public courses. The competition for tee times has resulted in an increase in indoor, simulator-style options in recent years.
It’s not Timberlake’s only business venture in Nashville. The singer also owns a portion of Lower Broadway’s Twelve Thirty Club, which was codeveloped by restaurateur Sam Fox of Fox Restaurant Concepts.
