One minute you’re working on your short game.
The next, a small plane crashes down and skids across the practice green right in front of you.
This was some kind of freak accident for sure at the Arcade Creek course at Haggin Oaks in Sacramento, where a security camera perfectly captured the moment when a plane came skidding across the ground and right across a practice putting green where a golfer was simply trying to work on some things.
This happened on Sunday at about 1:20 p.m. PT. Sacramento Fire Department spokesman Capt. Justin Sylvia says the pilot reported that he had complete mechanical failure at around 400 feet in altitude.
Take a look at the video, which you’re probably going to do three or four times, because it’s quite amazing how no one was hurt in this scene.

The plane finally comes to a stop after banging into the clubhouse. The pilot reported he had a minor cut on his hand. The golfer, meanwhile, likely had the scare of his life.
If you watch the video again, you can see the plane also somehow misses the golfer’s pushcart and clubs.
