By

Another birdie-barrage has broken out in Silvis, Illinois, at the 2024 John Deere Classic, where C.T. Pan and Aaron Rai are tied for the lead at 14 under. Pan and Rai have matched each other so far through two days, shooting 6-under 65s on Thursday and 8-under 63s on Friday. Rai, an Englishman, tied for second at last week’s Rocket Mortgage Classic and is once again in the mix looking for his first PGA Tour win.

Harry Hall followed up his first-round 63 with a 6-under 65 and is alone in third at 13 under, one back. Six players are tied for fourth at 12 under, two back, while eight players are tied for 10th at 11 under, three back.

The 36-hole cut at the John Deere came in at 5-under 137, with 77 players making it to the weekend.

Here are 11 notable names who are leaving the Quad Cities a few days early.
