Tiger Woods’ mini-golf venue PopStroke is now open in Arizona. Here’s what to expect

GLENDALE, Ariz. — After a nearly two-year wait, Tiger Woods’ “technology-infused golf entertainment venue” with two 18-hole putting courses is open at Westgate Entertainment District next door to the Arizona Cardinals home, State Farm Stadium.

PopStroke opened its doors at noon on Thursday, March 2, and hours are 10 a.m.-11 p.m. Sundays to Wednesdays and 10 a.m.-midnight Thursdays to Saturdays. The venue previously held a nearly week-long soft opening during the Super Bowl 57 festivities in February.

This is the first PopStroke location in Arizona. A second venue at the Pavilions at Talking Stick on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Reservation near Scottsdale is anticipated to open in the next four to six months, according to a press release.

Here’s what you can expect at Arizona’s first PopStroke.

How much does it cost to play at PopStroke?

According to the venue’s website, the pricing is as follows:

All Day Play: $30.
Seniors (60 years and older): $20.
Military: $20.
Kids ages 6-12 years old: $18.
Kids ages 3-5 years old: $15; 2 years and younger: Free.
Groups (10 or more): $22 per person.

There are no reservations; entry is first-come, first-served.

What are PopStroke’s putting courses like?

The courses are built with synthetic turf and are uniquely designed for each location. They incorporate “undulations, fairways, bunkers and rough as seen on traditional golf courses,” according to a press release.

The Tiger Red Course “challenges even the most experienced putters with strong contouring and tricky hole locations.”

The Tiger Black Course is more beginner-friendly and “has softened contours to create an ideal course for families and anyone new to golf.”

PopStroke’s app has a digital scorecard for players to keep track of their games.

There is also a full-service restaurant, rooftop bar and ice cream parlor.
